WEEMS & PLATH Barometers Editorial Review

The Weems and Plath Endurance II 115 Open Dial Barometer has garnered a range of responses from users, particularly those who appreciate its classic design and functionality. Many customers find the barometer to be both aesthetically pleasing and practical, noting that it adds a touch of charm to boats and homes alike. For instance, one user mentioned its great quality and an intention to purchase additional Endurance products as gifts, highlighting its appeal as an ideal present for sailing enthusiasts. Installations appear to be straightforward, enhancing user satisfaction. However, some customers did have issues with the barometer’s accuracy in tracking barometric changes, indicating that it may require some effort to calibrate properly—specifically, multiple taps were necessary to get the needle to align correctly with the pressure marks. On the downside, there were negative experiences related to the product's return policy, with at least one customer expressing frustration about the non-returnable nature of the item after it failed to meet expectations. This can discourage potential buyers who are hesitant to invest in a product without a satisfactory return option. Overall, the Weems and Plath Endurance II 115 Open Dial Barometer is well-regarded for its traditional look and quality, making it a popular choice among boaters and gift givers. However, potential buyers should Consider the calibration challenges and the strict return policy before making a purchase. **
