The Arduino UNO module comes in two versions, one with a DIP version of the ATMEGA chip and another with the surface mount ATMEGA chip. No functions differ between the two other than the former being replaceable, and the latter not. The package does not include a USB cable. The product has supported various IoT projects and is a reliable complement to implement IoT projects. Purchasing genuine Arduino boards ensure quality, parts and assembly. On the other hand, there are lots of cheap Arduino clones out there, however they might cause problems. A few owners of the product found it complicated to use on iPads. One user didn't realize they purchased the SMD version, whereas they would have preferred the socket version.
