The Roxul Rockboard 60 is a rigid insulation material suitable for soundproofing and thermal insulation. Each single sheet weighs about 8 pounds, with an R-value of 4.3. Although the compression (psi) is not specified, it is a more rigid insulation. The package includes four 24"x48"x2" sheets, totalling 32 sq. ft. It is not recommended for hydroponic gardening since it contains formaldehyde, and painting is not advisable for this insulation. It is best used in a generator enclosure with an exhaust fan to maintain humidity levels. It is not appropriate for exterior insulation finishing (eifs) as it needs to be covered by fabric.
