répondre: I've used them to cut bone nuts and bridges on acoustic guitars. I would think they would also cut graphite. -

Does this set have the correct sizes for filing a classical guitar nut?
répondre: Sort of. You'll need to use the next size up for some of the standard gauge strings (.42 file for .40 string, .46 for the .43, etc) or widen the slot by judicially waggle the file. Most file sets require that anyway. What you need to know about these files is that they are not as rigid as other sets, and the smaller sizes are very flexible. That may or may not be a negative for you.

The Hocos11 Nut File Set is a smattering of sizes that work for multiple string gauges, and is well made. These nut files are much sharper and cut cleaner than even the more expensive non-diamond Stewmac file set. The package is superb and does exactly what you want it to do. It can cut bone nuts and bridges on acoustic guitars, and can also cut graphite. Although some of the standard gauge strings on classical guitars may require a next-size-up file or widening the slot, it is not a negative. However, it is not as rigid as other sets, and the smaller sizes are very flexible.
