It has good suction and picks up surface dirt efficiently. The filter is easy to clean; unless there is an odor or mold developing, the filter lasts for years. The power is 120 volts-60 Hz and 7 amps, making it a powerful tool for home use, and it is an effective vacuum for the car as it is small and fits behind things. However, it has limitations. It doesn't come with a retractable cord, and the cord is not long enough to reach some areas. It is not cordless, so it requires a nearby power source, and the noise could be disturbing. The machine doesn't perform well in the case of dust bunnies and fine dust, which waft up into the air and stick to the filter. And because it doesn't have rotating brushes, it may not be the ideal tool for pet hair if it's stuck to the carpet.
