The Stadler Form Oskar cool mist humidifier is a reliable and silent machine that doesn't produce white dust. It has a metallic sheen and comes with included filters. However, the filters clog very frequently with hard water and it’s either distilled water or $20 per month on extra filters. The owner's manual is available for download on the manufacturer's website and it’s very simple to clean. Although it’s a cool mist humidifier, it’s evaporative and doesn't have ultrasonic capability. It’s suitable for rooms up to 325 sq. ft. and has a 5-level fan speed control. It’s also easy to fill and maintain, and has a separate electronics compartment for the reservoir for easy cleaning. The downside of this machine is that it is pricey when you are using hard water and the expensive filters clog easily. The output of moisture may not be powerful enough to humidify large rooms.
