The Godin A12 Two-Chambered Electro-Acoustic Guitar Natural is praised for its awesome full tone and top-rate playability. The neck of the A12 model is holding up very well within a year of purchase and the sound is beautiful, full and rich more acoustic than electric. The nut width of the guitar is 1.7” (43.18 mm), however, it does not have a built-in tuner. The guitar looks like Richlite or ebony to some. One user, however, reports they had to send the first guitar back, because the 9V battery only lasted for hours and the second one also had the same problem. The battery depletion issue seems to be common in almost all A12 models. However, the supplier, GuitarVault, has been very supportive during the process. Users suggest pairing the guitar with a Fishman Loudbox amplifier to enhance the sound. Users who played a Taylor 150e for 7 years found that the sound of the A12 can be approached with it. Overall the guitar is a dream to play and is touted as the best value for the money.
