The meter seems to be solid and durable Considering its low price. Although there were some problems with the backlight button, it worked perfectly fine. The readings on this meter are repeatable and seem to be accurate. The HONEYTEX A6243L has helped several hobbyists find out-of-spec capacitors and calibrate their function generator as advertised. However, there were some criticisms of the range; the inductor range on the low side and capacitor range were not always sufficient. Additionally, a commonly used 4.7uH measures as 0.000mH instead of 0.004 or 0.005. Furthermore, one customer complained that the probes were not included, and the meter provided way off-test results. The long-term durability of this product is also unknown.
