Wipe clean. Use a wet sponge, cloth or paper towels. Two Hour Cleaning: 1. Spray in cold oven. If you have a self-cleaning oven, make sure self-cleaning cycle is turned off and oven is cold. Spray over oven surfaces from a distance of 9-12 inches, making sure that the soiled surfaces are well covered. 2. Close door. Wait two hours for foam to penetrate oven soils. Do not turn on oven or self-cleaning cycle. 3. Wipe clean. Use a wet sponge, cloth or paper towels. Easy Overnight Cleaning: 1. Spray in cold oven. Follow directions in step 1 above. 2. Close door. To use, simply spray the cleaner in a cold oven, holding the can upright and pointed away from your face.
Liberally spray the spots from a distance of 9-12 inches and let it stand for 5 minutes. Then, wipe clean using a wet sponge, cloth, or paper towels. It's that easy! If you prefer a more thorough cleaning, we have instructions for two-hour cleaning and easy overnight cleaning as well.
For the two-hour cleaning, spray the cleaner in a cold oven, making sure to cover all the soiled surfaces from a distance of 9-12 inches. Close the door and wait for two hours for the foam to penetrate the oven soils. Then, wipe clean using a wet sponge, cloth, or paper towels. For easy overnight cleaning, follow the same steps for the five-minute cleaning, but allow the foam to penetrate overnight instead.
Remember to not turn on the oven during this time. As with any cleaning products, it's important to take precautions. Avoid spraying on pilot lights, electrical connections, switches, light bulbs, heating elements, or thermostats. Do not use on aluminum or painted surfaces as it may cause damage.
This oven cleaner is not suitable for microwave ovens, convection ovens, or continuous-cleaning ovens. However, it can be used in self-cleaning ovens as long as the self-cleaning cycle is turned off. Please be aware that this product contains sodium hydroxide, which can cause burns to the eyes and skin on contact. It is also harmful if swallowed.
