Hardcover mind, body & spirit Editorial Review
** The Magic Plants. Hidden Botany** "The Magic Plants. Hidden Botany" offers an intriguing exploration of botanical magic and the art of using plants in a mystical context, rooted in the historical context of Paracelso's original work. Readers note that the book embraces an antique aesthetic, with its velvety cover enhancing the tactile experience of the text. The book serves as a valuable resource for those interested in the historical uses of plants, blending curiosity with education. Many reviewers appreciated the approachable writing style, which strikes a balance that is neither overly simplistic for seasoned readers nor overwhelmingly complex for newcomers. Despite some criticism regarding print quality—where readers pointed out instances of blurred words—the book's content and engaging tone have won over many enthusiasts of botany and mysticism. It is perceived more as a collector's item or educational tool than a modern guide to magic, making it particularly appealing for those looking to delve deeper into the marvelous world of plants and their historical significance. For many, this amalgamation of historical insights and accessible writing style culminates in a book that sparks curiosity and desire for further exploration. Nonetheless, some readers have expressed disappointment about the physical printing quality, suggesting they had expected more fidelity in the reproduction of the original text. The compact size of the book has also elicited varying responses, with some finding it ideal for travel, while others have remarked on its seeming smaller dimension compared to expectations. Overall, "The Magic Plants. Hidden Botany" delivers a compelling glimpse into the intersection of botany and mysticism, appealing to anyone fascinated by the role of plants in historical magical practices. **
