Avis éditorial
Evil Dead Burn (Blu-ray) is a dark and intense addition to the Evil Dead franchise, directed by Sébastien Vaniček. The film’s narrative centers around Alice, who grapples with the loss of her husband Will after a heated argument, compounded by suspicion and distrust from his family. Unlike earlier installments that leaned into dark humor, this film opts for terror and physical pain blended with a complex family story marked by guilt and violence. The atmosphere is palpably unsettling, crafted through engaging cinematography that channels the horror in claustrophobic environments. Souheila Yacoub delivers a powerful performance as Alice, evoking vulnerability and rage in a world teetering on the brink of chaos, making the film an immersive experience for horror fans who appreciate creative and intense visuals alongside a gripping story.
