With a width that fits openings between 73cm and 80cm, and the ability to extend up to 136cm with separate gate extensions, this gate offers ultimate flexibility in securing your home. The Secure Tech Metal Gate is designed with your child's safety in mind. Its double-lock safety release makes it extremely difficult for toddlers between 6 months and 2 years old to open, giving you peace of mind knowing that your little one is protected.
However, we always recommend keeping a close eye on your child and never leaving them unattended. Opening and closing the gate is a breeze thanks to the one-hand operation. Simply press the buttons on the handle to unlock and swing the gate open, and give it a gentle push to close it securely. The visual indicator, called SecurTech, provides additional assurance by confirming whether the gate is properly locked or not.
A green indicator means it's locked, while red means it's open. In addition to its functionality, the Secure Tech Metal Gate offers comfort and ease of use. The gate is extra wide, providing a spacious passage for you to walk through comfortably. It can also be opened in one or both directions, depending on where it's mounted. Installation is quick and easy with no drilling required.
The push-fit fitting ensures a secure fit, and if you have a larger opening, you can easily add our Safety 1st Gate Extensions (sold separately) for a perfect fit. We offer extensions in various sizes - 7cm, 14cm, and 28cm - allowing you to extend the gate up to 136cm. For those with stair railings, we also offer an additional accessory called the Safety 1st Y-spindle (sold separately) for a secure installation. Please note that one side of the frame will be at an angle when you remove it from the box, but this is a intentional design feature to create pressure and hold the gate in place. Once correctly mounted, the gate will close properly. Your child's safety is our top priority, so please read the instructions carefully before installation.
Incorrect installation can be dangerous. This gate should not be fitted across windows, and we strongly recommend using wall cups (where applicable) for added stability.
